Finally, a date for the new series of Walking Dead: where and when to see Daryl Dixon in France?

What surprised us last September, during the Daryl Dixon series launch event in the US, was to see that the horror program was not simulcast in France. The surprise is even bigger since the new spin-off of The Walking Dead takes place in France!

The franchise has seen a number of broadcasts in our region: the original series and Dead City aired on OCS, Fear the Walking Dead on myCANAL and The Walking Dead: World Beyond on Prime Video.

Daryl Dixon’s arrival here marks the introduction of a new broadcast platform, as the program will be offered exclusively on Paramount+ from November 10th!

In this new series, created as a direct continuation of the last season of The Walking Dead, Daryl is transported thousands of kilometers away from his home in France. In this foreign land where he doesn’t speak the language, a lone wolf played by Norman Reedus will do anything to get back home with his family.

Filmed mainly in Paris, but also in Normandy and in some emblematic places in our country (Mont-Saint-Michel, Champ de Mars, etc.), Anne Charrier (Chefs) and Eric Ebouan (Le Flic de Belleville).

Originally announced as one of the series’ leads, Melissa McBride (Carol) only appears in a handful of scenes. Nevertheless, it has been confirmed that the latter will play a bigger role in the second season, which has already been officially announced by the American channel AMC.

Keep in mind that the new spin-off from The Walking Dead will air in early 2024. Titled The Ones Who Live, this mini-series centered on Rick Grimes and Michonne does not yet have a broadcast in France.

The first two episodes of Daryl Dixon can be seen on November 10 on Paramount+; The series will then be available every week on the platform, with one episode every Friday.
