Previously subtitled as Harkness House AND Chaos Covenant, Agatea new Marvel spin-off series by WandaVision, obtained a new official title. According to Deadline, the series will now be released under this name Agatha: Darkhold Journals. In addition to the title change, a description of the first chapter was also revealed, indicating in which timeline of the MCU the production will take place.
According to the published synopsis, Agate will take place exactly after the last episode of WandaVision. For those who don’t remember, the witch ended the series by being trapped by a spell cast by Wanda Maximoff, Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen).
In the first episode, we see Agatha Harkness (Kathryn Hahn) finally free herself from the spell she was trapped in. She longs to return to her evil ways, but she discovers that she no longer has her powers. The only way forward for her is to embark on a perilous journey to regain her magic, with the help of a friend or two.
Synopsis.
Jac Schaeffer, showrunner of the series, will direct the first chapter. In addition to Hahn, Aubrey Plaza, Joe Locke, Patti LuPone, Sasheer Zamata and Ali Ahn will appear in the episode.
