Reese Witherspoon, richest actress in the world, admits she feels alone

Reese Witherspoon also revealed that difficult times don’t keep her from enjoying comedy

Reese Witherspoon spoke about loneliness at Hello Sunshine’s Shine Away Event, alongside her friend Tracee Ellis Ross, last Saturday, 21. “I’ve been trying to find balance outside of work,” admitted the actress. “I’m a person who keeps my schedule busy, so I feel less alone and restless.”

For years, the interpreter of Elle Woods in Legally Blonde (2001) felt like a robot until he “broke.” She contacted ross, at the time, and cried on the phone. “It actually made me feel very vulnerable, sharing this with you,” she said.

Witherspoon he even quoted a poem by Cleo Wade: “Sometimes you’re the glue in everyone’s life, whether it’s at work, being a mother, or a partner, but who’s keeping you together? It’s really important to remember that you have to be the glue that keeps you together.”

When she read the poem for the first time, the actress says she cried because she didn’t feel like she was taking care of herself, or even seeking help. She announced the end of her marriage of more than a decade with Jim Toth in March this year.

Despite the difficult times you have been experiencing, Reese highlighted his passion and “obsession with comedy and upbeat things,” during another panel at the event.

I want to do upbeat things that make girls excited to become women in this world, because it’s wonderful to be a woman in this world.
