Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige is a huge fan of the DC Extended Universe. So say the directors of the Disney + series “Ms. Wonder ”, Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah.
In an interview with The Hollywood reporter, the duo explained how they discovered Kevin Feige has an affection for the so-called DCEU. It all started when the duo revealed that they agreed to direct a project set in the DC Universe. “We have written [para a Marvel Studios] an email saying we were going to do ‘Batgirl’, and then Kevin Feige, Victoria [Alonso] and Lou [D’Esposito] everyone said. ‘Congratulations!’ ”Fallah commented.
“They were super happy for us. People say there is a rivalry, but that’s not the case at all, ”she continued. El Arbi agreed and added. “[Marvel e DC] they are big fans of each other. Such comments that the Marvel Studios president is a huge DC Universe fan come after a recent rumor that Kevin Feige almost went to Warner Bros. working with DC years ago. Eventually, Feige decided to stay at Marvel and is currently working on Phase 4 of the MCU.
Fallah and Arbi are best known for their work as directors of “Bad Boys For Life” and now for “Ms. Marvel”, which tells the story of the latest heroine of the Marvel Cinematic Universe: the young American-Pakistani Kamala Khan, great Avengers fan who ends up acquiring superpowers.
