Daniel Radcliffe hasn’t finished Harry Potter. While the upcoming Wolverine (?) is in the French news with the magical saga airing on TF1, we hear from the American site. Deadline that the actor was working on a particularly exciting project: a documentary centered on the story of David Holmes, a stuntman who lost the use of his legs after an accident on the set of Harry Potter 7.
If the Harry Potter translator chose to produce and participate in this documentary, it’s because it was his voice actor after Sorcerer’s Stone.
Holmes had to do a simple trick: before he was shot at the wall after the explosion, he fell very hard to the ground. Unable to move after the shock, he finds himself in the hospital with a broken neck and now paralyzed. He was only 25 years old.
Titled in English David Holmes: The Boy Who Lived (Capturing the World of Harry Potter Perfectly), this documentary consists of personal images of his life, filming of the magical saga, as well as discussions with Radcliffe and his exes. Members of the film set. A movie that promises to move you.
It will be broadcast in the US on HBO on November 15 and will be available immediately on Max. No dates have been announced for other countries. We will probably have to wait for the arrival of the streaming platform to discover this documentary in France.
