Seen in 10 theaters: Who is that character in the post-credits scene?

Warning – The following article contains spoilers for “Saw X” as it previews part of its plot and the content of its post-credits scene. So please go ahead if you haven’t seen it yet.

When it’s more, it’s more… Gore! Thanks to the temporary trick of coming back from the dead in the saw, Jigsaw has not forgotten the essence of the case of the person who sent him to his crooks: Henry Kessler (Michael Beach).

It’s a pale place with a bathtub that appears to be the first way we find it, mid-credits. Hands are attached to a chain connected to the ceiling, feet above the floor. A torture device on his stomach that was going to give him, in real life, that fake scar he’d revealed a little while ago as proof of his cancer cure.

A trap that we don’t fully understand how it works, but that doesn’t matter. Because the interest of this scene lies elsewhere: in addition to closing the bloody loop for John, the purpose is to show his other accomplice. this “The Inspector” Whom he spoke with earlier on the phone and who helped him find the next victim.

And the latter is none other than Hoffman (Kostas Mandilor), one of the recurring faces of the saga. After the third film, he is revealed in the fourth to be one of Jigsaw’s accomplices. whose modus operandi he tried to maintain after the death of the latter, without thinking that he would have to fight with other heirs.

Hoffmann (Kostas Mandylor)

The story of this new saw takes place between I and II, so it can be returned. And it was rumored when the trailer revealed that Amanda (Shaunie Smith) would be there.

Hoffman was also present, unbeknownst to us, in these images: we see his feet in the images of this sequence, and that’s what we hear him say. “Of all the con men, you chose John Cramer?”The line he says in the post-credits scene.

And even for those who didn’t recognize his voice, his return isn’t 100% a surprise. Many people familiar with the saga will, in fact, be very quick to guess who the inspector John is talking to on the phone (without naming him) while he hatches his diabolical plan. Now it remains to be seen if this return is just fan service or will announce a sequel that is part of this Saw X continuity.
