Three-part special will air before season 14 premiere
The three-part special from Doctor Whowhich celebrates the series’ 60th anniversary and marks the return of David Tennant like the Doctor, it already has a release date. Originally the tenth version of the time traveler, the actor from Jessica Jones (2015-2019) and Good Omens (2019-) now returns to play the 14th Doctor from November.
According to information from the EntertainmentWeeklyin particular, the Doctor needs to deal with one of the biggest mistakes of his life: erasing the memory of Donna Noble (Catherine Tate) in an attempt to save the life of his then partner.
She is the one who will help you deal with the Toymaker, a villain played by Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother), with whom Donna seems to have a connection from the past. However, being at the Doctor’s side again could bring a burden to his companion and put her life at risk once again. Watch the new trailer:
The first part of the 60th anniversary special Doctor Who got the name The Star Beast and premieres on November 25th. A week later, on December 2nd, it’s time to check out the second part, Wild Blue Yonder. Finally, the third and final part, The Gigglewill be released on December 9th.
In the United Kingdom and Ireland, the series is broadcast by the BBC, but will be distributed worldwide, including Brazil, by Disney+ starting with the 60th anniversary special. The 14th season, which will show Ncuti Gatwa (Sex Education) assuming the role of Doctorwill follow the same release pattern.
