to remember
A great day for cinemas: This Wednesday, October 25, the release day of two highly anticipated French films allowed cinemas in France to be packed with viewers. Over 110,000 entries in one day Maximum 3 daysAnd the numbers are even more impressive when you look ahead.
The new film directed by Tarek Budal, surrounded by the Fife gang, has already reached 221,138 admissions, an even higher start than Marry Me Mon Pote (178,197 receptions on the first day in France, October 2017) and higher, also on Alibi.com. 2 (173,635 records for its first day last February). This is simply the best start to the Peep Gang movies. Alibi.com #1 was their best launch yet with 182,009 entries in February 2017.
If you compare this launch to the latest Mission Impossible, the action film that 3 Days Max refers to, among other things, full of cinematic references, it is almost as strong as the beginning of this latest adventure. Tom – Ethan. Hunt – Cruise: 234,681 entries for the first day of Mission Impossible Dead Reckoning Part 1 last July.
Another locomotive of the week: Albert Dupontel’s new film, The second round ! Like the Fifi gang, Albert Dupontel also had his best run with this film. The director also relied on many previews (over 60,000 receptions). In addition to the 57,000 records recorded on Wednesday alone, The second round Reached 126,044 records. This is better than Adieu les idiots and its 111,586 records in 2020.
On the third step of the podium we find a horror movie saw X. With its 59,642 entries (including 24,410 in AVP), this run is the 5th start to the saga, the highest held by the Jigsaw-centric franchise’s Big Bad (271,916 entries, as of November 2017).
Finally, consider the release of Ken Loach’s new film, old oak, in competition at the recent Cannes Film Festival. The launch takes place between It’s a Free World and Eric’s Quest. It attracted more than 20,000 moviegoers including previews.
