Palmeiras launches the shirt created by Abel Ferreira

Palmeiras launched this Friday (27th), a new jersey inspired by motorsport. However, what catches the eye is that one of the creative directors of the shirt is Abel Ferreira. The Alviverde coach was at Interlagos last year, cultivates Ayrton Senna as one of his great idols and inspired the launch of the uniform.

“This is a very special moment for me. Just like a fearless driver, I face my fears and challenges with courage and determination. Every race and every match are metaphors for life, in which strategy, resistance and perseverance become the essential ingredients for success I persist, I learn from failures and I celebrate victories, more than ever, because I know how difficult it is to win”, said Abel Ferreira, at the launch of the shirt.

The shirt is green and features a style inspired by the clothes worn by the teams sponsored by the brand in Formula 1. On the front, the button-down shirt is inspired by the year Palmeiras was founded. It is still possible to notice a vertical design to convey the sensation of speed. On the back, white stitching simulates the nose of a race car.

In fact, the t-shirt is made with sustainable raw materials from PET bottles and costs R$ 399.90 on PalmeirasStore.com and also in Palmeiras Store physical stores. In fact, it’s worth mentioning that it’s not a game shirt. Therefore it will not be used by the players in Verdão’s official matches in this final stretch of the Brasileiro.
