The Fortaleza and LDU lineups have already been defined for the grand final of the Copa Sudamericano, this Saturday, at 5pm (Brasilia time), at the Domingo Burgueño Miguel stadium, in Maldonado, Uruguay.
At Leão do Pici, coach Juan Pablo Vojvoda made only one change compared to the team that played in the semi-final return of the Copa Sudamericano, against Corinthians: Marinho takes Pikachu’s place on the left wing.
Fortaleza’s full lineup to face LDU includes João Ricardo; Tinga, Brítez, Titi and Bruno Pacheco; Caio Alexandre, Zé Welison and Pochettino; Marinho, Lucero and Guilherme.
On the Ecuadorian side, the expert Paolo Guerrero is the great reference of the team led by Luis Zubeldía. Champion of the Libertadores, LDU hopes to affirm its greatest tradition on the continent by winning another South American title.
The full LDU lineup includes Domínguez; Wuintero, Adé, Rodríguez and Quiñonez; Piovi, Martínez and Ibarra; Julio, Gonzalez and Paolo Guerrero.
This could be the first international title in the history of Fortaleza. Leão do Pici was promoted to the national football elite after being Serie B champions in 2018, under the guidance of Rogério Ceni, and has since consolidated itself as one of the best-managed clubs in Brazilian football, accumulating shares in Libertadores , which appears at the top of the Brazilian championship table and, now, reaches the final of a continental tournament.
