Do you want to offer your children a short and effective movie? Then Sammy the Seal is made for you: 45 minutes of simplicity and friendship between two brothers and an animal found in the wild that they decide to take care of. They are carefully taken home after the vacation is over without their parents knowing.

From 6 years
This TV movie is clearly calibrated by Disney so that kids of all ages can enjoy it! In the movie, the children are smart and inventive, the animal is clumsy and out of control but terrifyingly adorable, the adults are completely lost, and disasters abound!

Note that the clips available on Disney Plus are around 45 minutes long, perfect for keeping the little ones occupied during an extended meal. This version is very short of the 2:30 hour telecast of The Wonderful World of Disney in 1962! If not original, the available assembly goes to basic and improves efficiency.
What will they like?

- Sam as bold with the ball, as bold in the face of danger or gentle with the children he cared for and led.
- Disasters caused by animals, whether it’s a swimming pool scene or a supermarket scene, including expensive fish, should be appreciated by the youngest.
- How children manage to hide the presence of a sea lion from their parents, which is absolutely unbelievable to parents, but will delight children!
What might be bothering them:

- During a scene that pays homage to a great movie classic, Sam is placed in a pram, only to be accidentally knocked over by the kids! He rushes down the stairs and we fear for dear Sam who luckily escapes unscathed.
- The supermarket scene is very noisy, between the grunting of the seal, the barking of the dogs and the cries of the ladies whose shopping has been interrupted. There is also the possibility of annoying the parent!
