See how the pickup truck market is doing in the latter part of October; The Ram pickup scares Ford and Chevrolet
The Ram Rampage lines up traditional pickup trucks. First it surpassed the Chevrolet S10. Now he had left the Ford Ranger behind. According to the last partial before the October sales close, the Rampage was already the sixth best-selling pickup in Brazil.
The clear advantage goes to the Fiat Strada, the only vehicle to exceed 10,000 sales in October. Toyota Hilux and Fiat Toro compete for second place, with a small advantage for the Japanese pick-up.
Volkswagen Saveiro and Chevrolet Montana complete the group of the 5 best-selling pick-ups. At the rate it’s going, however, it’s possible that Nova Montana will be the Fury’s next victim (but not this month).
Partial numbers for October, according to Fenabrave, are as follows: Fiat Strada 10,661, Toyota Hilux 3,630, Fiat Toro 3,573, Volkswagen Saveiro 3,466, Chevrolet Montana 2,610, Ram Rampage 2,166, Ford Ranger 2,143 and Chevrolet S10 1,853.
