M3, M3 Pro and M3 Max

The new Apple Silicon processors debut the latest 3-nanometer lithography, making chipsets more efficient than previous generations while delivering even more power.

Apple highlights new GPU architecture that can deliver even greater performance in demanding tasks like rendering 3D scenes, photo and video editing, creating music with hundreds of tracks, and more.

For gaming and rendering, Apple highlights the debut of Mesh Shading and Ray Tracing for even more detail in virtual objects and more realistic shadows and reflections.

The M3 family offers energy-efficient cores that are 30 percent faster than the M2 line and up to 50 percent faster than the M1. Performance cores are up to 15% faster than the M2 line and up to 30% faster than the M1.

The M3 debuts with 25 billion transistors, 8-core CPU, 10-core GPU, and up to 24GB of unified RAM.

The M3 Pro stands out with its 37 billion transistors, 12-core CPU, 18-core GPU and up to 36GB of RAM.

Finally, the M3 Max offers the highest performance of the line so far, with 92 billion transistors, a 16-core CPU, a 40-core GPU, and up to 128GB of RAM.

Now equipped with the M3 chip, the 24-inch iMac maintains the ultra-thin 11.5mm look of the previous generation with the same 7 color options: green, yellow, orange, pink, purple, blue and silver.

The 4.5K resolution Retina display offers brightness up to 500 nits and features True Tone technology to adapt colors based on ambient brightness.

With a FaceTime HD camera, high-quality microphones and a sound system with 6 speakers and support for spatial audio, the iMac gets support for high-speed Wi-Fi 6E and maintains the configuration with two USB-C ports ( Thunderbolt) and four USB-C ports.

For those who already own a previous-generation model, the new model doesn’t offer enough new features to justify the migration, although it’s a great option for those thinking of getting their first iMac.

Equipped for the first time with three processors from the same Apple Silicon chip line, the new MacBook Pro gains rendering capabilities thanks to the powerful M3 family GPU with RayTracing for more realistic lighting in games and up to 2.5 times rendering faster in professional programs.

The MacBook Pro with 14″ screen and M3 chip is compatible with an external monitor and offers up to 22 hours of battery life. Its version with M3 Pro and M3 Max is compatible with up to four external monitors and offers up to 18 hours of autonomy. battery life.

The 16″ MacBook Pro with M3 Pro and M3 Max is compatible with up to four external displays and offers up to 22 hours of battery life.
