Supla was kicked out of the cemetery while recording a gothic video: “Monte de Crazy”

Supla released their new song this Tuesday (10/31) to celebrate Halloween. The music video for “Goth Girl From East LA” was recorded from a cell phone inside the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, California, United States.

In an interview with Splash, Supla revealed that his recordings were stopped and he ended up being kicked out of the venue, which became famous for housing the remains of influential names such as Alfred Hitchcock, Johnny Ramone and Jayne Mansfield.

“The guys asked me to leave. You can’t film inside. There are a lot of crazy people who go there to take pictures of the graves, but the security guard went along with us. I had already registered my things , so I have left,” said Supla.

Clip details

Supla draws attention for his acting talent in the music video, where he appears seduced by a gothic vampire inside the cemetery. The singer has already announced that he has new acting projects to launch, but there are no predictions yet. “It’s one of the first clips that I don’t sing. I told the director [Peter Steen Olsen] that he wanted to act,” he said.

The gothic aesthetic will be seen in Supla’s upcoming shows, which is scheduled for Saturday (4/11) at the Replay Festival and will also tour Europe later this year. “This will be the new look of the band, and mine too. Something a little gothic and punk”, underlined the artist.
