A branch of Caixa Econômica Federal, located on Avenida da Azenha, was the subject of an invasion in the early hours of this Tuesday (31). The incident was recorded around 4 am, when a resident of the region reported hearing the alarm ringing in the establishment, located in the Azenha neighbourhood, in the central region of Porto Alegre.
According to information provided by the Military Brigade (BM), the area of the banking terminals and customer services was invaded after the entrance door of the agency was broken into. There is no information yet on the number of criminals involved and whether they managed to access the safe, but it is known that at least one monitor was stolen during the action.
