Initially, the series invites us to follow Silvia (Monica Cruz), Lola (Beatriz Luengo), Roberto (Miguel Angel Muñoz), Ingrid (Silvia Marti) and Pedro (Pablo Puyol), a group of young people who join the best performing arts school in the country and who learn different joys, sorrows and problems through dance, singing, music and theater lessons. .

In Un, dos, tres: new generation, more than fifteen years have passed since the stories told in the original series. The continuation of the cult series tells the story of Roberto, still played by Miguel Angel Muñoz, who returns from America with the idea of ​​staging a major musical. To do this, Roberto wants to gather new talents from the ranks of the school where he studied, but also former classmates, such as Lola and Silvia, whose performers have agreed to return.

Un, dos, tres: The New Generation was discontinued in 2005 after several years of cult following. In 2017, for the fifteenth anniversary of the series, several special evenings were held in Spain, during which most of the actors reunited and reviewed their memories of the series. Five years later, in 2022, a spin-off mini-series called Un, dos, tres: historias de UPA Next was also offered on Spanish screens.
