With the large availability of warm and humid air over Brazil, many heavy clouds form over the country. Humidity increases in the Northeast and it starts to rain again.
A dry air mass predominates over part of northern Brazil, between Amapá, Roraima and Pará, inhibiting the formation of large clouds.
The presence of low atmospheric pressure over Paraguay increases conditions for rain in southern Brazil and Mato Grosso do Sul.

Southern region
Areas of instability form again in southern Brazil later in the day and cause more rain in all states.
Inside Paraná the sun appears among many clouds, but there are still conditions for rain at any time. In central-eastern Paraná (including Curitiba) the day is cloudy, but with light rain and drizzle.
Western Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul have sunshine in the morning, but with increased cloud cover and rain showers in the afternoon and evening.
South-eastern region
A cold front advances along the coast of Rio de Janeiro and warm, moist air predominates over the southeastern region. Heavy clouds grow across the region. There is a risk of heavy rain in all states.
In the interior of São Paulo, in the south of Minas, in the Zona da Mata Mineira, in the state of Rio de Janeiro and in the south of Espírito Santo, it can rain several times, at any time, but the sun can appear among many clouds. The center, west, north and east of Minas Gerais, in the north-central Espírito Santo, have periods with sunshine and rain showers with lightning in the afternoon and at night.
In the south and east of Sao Paulo the day is cloudy and subject to light rain. Moderate to heavy rain may occur on the coast of Sao Paulo.
There is a risk of new heavy rains in the mountainous region of Rio de Janeiro, which rained heavily on Monday, with barriers falling and road closures.
Midwest Region
Warm, moist air predominates over the Midwest and heavy clouds develop over most of the region. The central-northern part of Mato Grosso has a day with sun and some clouds, but it shouldn’t rain.
In the west, south and east of Mato Grosso, in the Federal District and in Goiás, the sun appears for most of the day and showers with lightning are expected in the afternoon and evening. Moderate to heavy rain may occur in Goiás and the Federal District.
In Mato Grosso do Sul the risk of thunderstorms is greater due to the proximity to a low atmospheric pressure center in northern Paraguay. The center, west, south and east of Mato Grosso do Sul will rain at any time, while the rest of the state will see showers starting in the afternoon. There is a risk of heavy rain across the state.
North-East Region
Moist air spreads over northeast Brazil and a major change in weather occurs, with heavy clouds forming over much of the region.
The sun appears strong during the day in all states. It can rain quickly on the coast of Ceará and Rio Grande do Norte, on the coast, in the forest and wild areas of Paraíba and Pernambuco.
Rain showers with lightning may occur in the afternoon or evening in the interior of Bahia, in Teresina, in the interior of Piauí and in the interior of Maranhão, but the sun appears strong.
Northern Region
Dry air and moist air are observed in the northern region.
The dry air leaves the weather stable, with a predominance of sunshine in almost all of Pará, Roraima and almost all of Amapá. Some rain showers may occur in the far northwest of Amapá, in the east and northeast of Pará. The sun also predominates on the border between Amazonas and Pará.
In other areas of the Region there are periods of sunny and rainy showers with lightning, especially in the afternoon and at night. Risk of heavy rain in the central-west and southern Amazonia, Acre and Rondônia.

Be careful with very dry air with humidity rates between 21% and 30% in the hinterland of Bahia, in the hinterland of Alagoas, Sergipe, Pernambuco and Paraíba, in the interior of Ceará.
