That was the question every Attack on Titan fan was asking themselves. While it has been confirmed that the grand finale of the series will air in Japan this Sunday, November 5th, many netizens are wondering if the episode will also be offered this weekend in France.

While Crunchyroll’s silence on the matter led to fears of a later delay, that won’t be the case in the end as the platform has confirmed that the final episode of Attack on Titan will indeed be upon us this week.

attack on the titans (Often referred to by its original title: Shingeki no Kyojin) is a manga adaptation by Hajime Isayama (34 volumes available from Pika). The series depicts a fantasy world where humanity hides behind giant walls to escape the flesh-eating titans.

After helplessly witnessing his mother’s death, Eren Jaeger decides to join the Research Corps to eradicate the last monster. A surprise attack by the Titans, including a giant Titan and another with skin covered in armor, forces the young man to start fighting sooner than expected. And at the same time discover strange powers…

A total of four seasons and 89 episodes of the anime have been broadcast since 2013. Also keep in mind that the finale will benefit from an extended run time as the last episode airs this weekend at around 1:30am!

Available this Sunday, November 5th on Crunchyroll, the final episode of Attack on Titan will also air on Monday, November 6th on Mangas Channel in its original version with French subtitles.
