It is the Brazilians who decide Frosinone’s historic ranking in the Italian Cup

Frosinone manages to reach the round of 16 of the Italian Cup for the first time in its history, with the help of two Brazilians. Kaio Jorge assisted and Reinier scored the goal in extra time to secure a 2-1 victory over Torino in Turin. In this way the club advances in the competition and will have Napoli as its next opponent.

The Brazilians started from the bench and in the 5th minute the German Arijon Ibrahimovic scored the first goal for Frosinone. Torino equalized through David Zilma in the first half, and the score remained the same until the end of regular time.

Reinier came on in the 37th minute of the second half, while Kaio Jorge was called up at the start of extra time. Thus, in the eighth minute of the start of extra time, the Brazilian pair shines and Reinier scores the goal after a good play by Kaio Jorge.

Furthermore, this was Reinier’s second goal in four matches for Frosinone. Both are on loan from their parent clubs: Reinier from Real Madrid and Kaio Jorge from Juventus.
