In 2002, not yet twenty years old, Chris Hemsworth, one of whose films even the biggest fans have forgotten about the dark story of the twins, made his acting debut in the Australian fantasy series – Canadian Guinevere Jones. Nine years before he played Thor in the MCU, he was already haunted by myth and legend as he famously slipped into King Arthur’s suit for the occasion!
Chris Hemsworth donned the crown of King Arthur for two short episodes of this series, which tells the story of how a modern-day girl discovers that she is the reincarnation of Queen Guinevere of Camelot.
“In this show, I wore a beautiful dark red-brown wig, period costume, that kind of thing.”– said the actor last year For the Wired site, in response to a fan question. “It was cool. I was like, ‘Wow!’ I’m on set!’ It was my big debut.”

After a brief appearance in Guinevere Jones, Chris Hemsworth, who at the time had the false air of Mark-Paul Gosselaar’s hero saved by the bell, pursued an early career in television. She appears in the credits of Voisins and Grand gallop, but it is her role as Kim Hyde in the Australian series Summer Bay that allows her to gain recognition in her homeland.
Chris Hemsworth would have to wait until 2009 to make his first foray into film, in JJ Abrams’ Star Trek, where he plays James Kirk’s father. Two years later, it would be an international blessing for the Australian with the role ThorAn iconic character that would appear in three sequels and four Avengers films.
