Mingau, from Ultraje a Rigor, goes to the rehabilitation clinic after two months in intensive care

Mingau, the bassist of the band Ultraje a Rigor, continues to recover after being shot in the head in September, in Paraty, Rio de Janeiro. According to his daughter Isabela Aglio, after two months of intensive care he will be transferred to a rehabilitation clinic. The news was shared by Isabella this Saturday (4/11) on her Instagram, expressing optimism about the next phase of her father’s recovery.

Isabela keeps her followers informed about Mingau’s condition, celebrating every little progress as a “big victory.” According to her, the musician has already achieved milestones such as “opening his eyes, moving his head, moving his fingers and toes.” The expectation is that rehabilitation in a lighter environment will speed up his recovery.

“Soon we will go to a clinic where he can rehabilitate. A lighter environment to share his evolution with you”, wrote the young woman in her stories.

Latest medical bulletin

The latest medical bulletin released by the São Luiz Hospital in Sao Paulo, where Mingau is hospitalized, dates back to the end of October. The report indicated that while there was still no “expected date” for discharge, the man was in stable condition and improving satisfactorily, no longer requiring sedation.

At the same time, in response to a fan’s request for photos of Mingau, Isabela stated that she will not publish images of her father due to the “vulnerable state” he is in, highlighting the lack of consent in this delicate moment.
