Gary’s joke
Gary and Enrique drink coffee at 101 years old. Enrique doesn’t hide the fact that he and Mo are worried about him. They did not want him to do anything with the money from the sale of the apartment. Gary then convinces Enrique that he has decided to invest €200,000 in a digital product that he strongly believes in.
Enrique is surprised. Once alone, Enrique calls Mo to tell him that he put all the money from the Gary sale into buying NFT. Mo is forced to interrupt their conversation as Ines tries to contact him.
In turn, Gary calls Marion and the two ex-lovers meet again. While they are taking a romantic walk, she gets a call from Mo, who asks to see her. Gary joins his ex-wife at the 101 bar. Enrique is with him. They gently reprimand Gary for teasing him.
I actually learned from Ines that Gary was playing a prank on them and that he had decided to use the money to buy their daughter a studio. Enrique criticizes him for taking them, but Gary excuses himself. Tired of being treated like an idiot, he decided to play this prank on them.
Bilal discovers the truth about Ulysses
Bilal talks to Ellis and Fanny about the search of his apartment. He must visit an estate in Castelnau-le-Laze and ask the young women what they think of the town. Fan argues that it serves the city very well, but Ellis is less enthusiastic. After the latter leaves, Bilal interrogates Fanny, who finally confesses everything about Ulises.
Later, Bilal finds Ulysses in front of the apartment they are supposed to visit. Bilal tells her that they are not going to visit as Fani told her everything. Ulysses then admits that he does not feel ready to settle down with anyone, but assures his companion that this does not make his feelings for her questionable. He loves her and is happy with her.
Bilal finds it hard to believe. If he really loved her, they would not have looked at so many apartments and would not have planned to live there. Ulises asks Bilal to forgive him for not daring to talk to him. That’s when the real estate agent comes for a visit. Bilal prefers to go.
Back at the neighborhood, Alice and Fanny find Bilal sad. He blames Ellis for not saying anything. Ellis excuses himself. He was sure Ulysses would tell him about it eventually. Ellis points out that it’s not the end of the world. Bilal then replies that this is just the end of his romantic dream and then leaves the living room.
Alice thinks Fanny told Bilal everything on purpose. If he had not said anything, Bilal would have been stuck in the apartment for weeks. Fan admits that he wants to live alone with Eli.
He gave up his apartment so they could try living together. She confides in her partner that she wants to know if they are ready for a long-term family. Alice is stunned. He did not know that Fanny wanted to have a child with him.
Hugo is on the path of a florist
While Father Silvio is praying in church, he receives a call from Christophe, who asks about him, confessing to his friend that he is sad and wandering like a lost soul. He never stops thinking about Janet, even when he is praying.
But she knows their relationship is doomed. Janet is married and he is a priest. He doubts that she is ready to leave her husband, especially since he has nothing to offer her. He feels that he is at a dead end, but heaven is not helping him. Kristoff (who will soon have to confront Cecil) tries to calm her down. At the hospital, Janet is distracted. She then receives a text from Silvio telling her that he is thinking about her. Janet replies that she is too.
The police find Obert’s car in an empty lot. Sent there, Hugo (who starts a relationship with Sabine) takes the first samples. The car was cleaned from top to bottom and found no traces of fibers or fingerprints. It is professional work. The only thing he found was a drop of blood left on purpose in the car.
Back at the Forensic Science Institute, Hugo reports to Becker and Manu. He tells them that the drop of blood found in the car really belongs to Obert. Hugo estimated that he had been there for 24 hours.
Becker assumes he was killed by a rival, but the medical examiner has a better guess. He thinks Obert was the victim of a florist, a serial killer thirsty for justice. He emphasizes that the robber was trying to escape from the police and his body was not found.
In addition, the drop of blood found in the car was poured voluntarily and, according to Hugo, the killer signs his crime. Hugo thinks that the florist got into the car before Obert arrived.
To find out, Manu asks Elise and Akim if someone could have gotten into Obert’s car without his knowledge. Both police officers admit that it was possible. They were focused on Obert and not paying any attention to his car.
Clement makes Cecil listen to Karim Ketan. It seems obvious to them that he is Obert’s lieutenant and that he does not know where he is. Cecil believes that Obert was killed by one of his rivals, but Becker rejects this hypothesis because Curry knew. Clement increasingly considers Hugo’s hypothesis about the florist. Cecil asks to dig.
When he returns home, Cecile confides in Christophe that the head of the Buddha Blue Network has disappeared. He mentions that he could have been killed. Christophe is delighted, which shocks Cecile. Kristof sinks in and explains to him that it will make one less piece of trash on the planet. Cecil is scandalized and explains to him that this is against the rule of law.
He wants a lawsuit to help victims. Kristoff apologizes and tries to convince him that his words were slurred. It was anger that spoke. He corrects this by telling her that he also hopes he gets convicted.
