Brazil will face Colombia and Argentina in the World Cup qualifiers

The call-up of the Brazilian national team has just ended and is already making waves on social media. Santos fans are the most worried, given the absence of Marcos Leonardo. The list of 24 names was released this Monday (6) for the matches against Colombia, on November 16, in Barranquilla (COL), and Argentina, on the 21st, at the MaracanĂ£.
Marcos Leonardo is 20 years old and despite being so young, he is the highlight of the season for Santos. In a complicated year for San Paolo, the number 9 is the team’s top scorer with 18 goals.
The young striker’s positive phase also extends to his performance in the Brazilian youth teams. With Brazil, Marcos played in the U20 World Cup in 2023 and, despite being eliminated in the quarterfinals, was one of the biggest names in the championship. The Santos striker was excluded from the South American category because Peixe decided not to release him.
