Jurisprudence 3: Were there atrocyptors and gigantosaurs?

Since he was the superstar of the Jurassic Park saga, the tyrannosaurus had to leave even bigger and even more vicious creatures in the Jurassic world trilogy.

In the first opus released in 2015, the show featured genetically modified dinosaur teeth from the re-created tyrannosaurus and Raptor DNA: Indominus Rex.

Another Sauri, whose genes were manipulated in a laboratory, later appeared in the Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom: The Indo-Reptor.

In the third opus, The World After, the public wondered if a new, even larger dinosaur was going to come out of the test tube to bite our heroes.

This time director Colin Trevor did not have to invent a predator. He went in search of his new stars in actually existing dinosaurs.

Gigantosaurus

The giantotosaurus, which was announced for sale in the fallen kingdom through numerous dinosaur DNA samples, is indeed in The World After.

This late Cretaceous theropod is the largest known predator on land. This huge super predator was rightly named “The Giant Lizard of the South.” Larger than the T-Rex, it weighs almost 14 tons at a height of 13 meters and can run up to 50 km / h.

The movies T-Rex and Giganotosaurus move at this speed, but according to some scientific research, these carnivorous giants could not move very fast because of their weight. In reality, of course, they could not exceed 20 km / h.

However, in The World After, this huge killer with a sharp spine is the biggest threat to the entire biosine field, even for a tyrannosaurus! With a camouflage dress, height and weight he is unstoppable and destroys everything in his path.

The giantotosaurus was discovered in 1993 by amateur paleontologist Ruben Carolyn. This discovery was officially recorded by paleontologist Rodolfo Correa in 1995.

Atrociraptor

Another species of predator appears in Jurassic World 3, the atrociraptor. These Cretaceous predators, packed in 4 pieces, have a name meaning “wild thieves”.

Their dimensions are almost 1 meter 80 and weighs barely 15 kg. Devilish, clever, and evil, they are trained to kill by smell, or by the victim appointed by a laser click. Their speed has changed and they are the result of research by Jurassic World by Owen Grady and Barry Semben.

Ghosts, stripes, tiger and red were named after the colors of their stripes. Scheduled to kill, they never let go of the victim … even if it’s Owen Grady and Claire Deering.

This specimen, from the family of Dromeosaurs, which may be considered to have been entirely invented for the purposes of the story, nevertheless really existed. It was discovered in 2004 by Philip John Curiae and Daniel J. By Varricio in Canada.

Unlike the participants in the feature film, the real atrocryptors, like all medium-sized dromeosaurids, had a plum or root on a part of the body.

So Jurassic World 3 gives a lot of freedom to scientific reality to make these creatures even more scary and horrible.
