An unusual moment attracted attention in the middle of the duel between Vasco and Botafogo, in São Januário, for the Brazilian championship. Medel, from Cruzmaltino, and Diego Costa, from Botafogo, got confused in a game without the ball and argued on the pitch. At the same moment the Chilean defender put his hand on his nose, suggesting that the Glorioso striker had bad breath.
The action takes place at 4pm of the second half, exactly three minutes after the entry of Diego Costa in place of Bastos. Referee Marcelo Vuaden stopped the match and booked both players with a yellow card.
Is it just me or did Medel mean that Diego Costa has breath? pic.twitter.com/DAx2XlzXKJ

At the time of the confusion, Vasco, from Medel, was winning 1-0 against Botafogo, with a goal from Paulo Henrique in the first half. The result takes Cruzmaltino out of the relegation zone and leaves Glorioso tied with Palmeiras at the top of the table with 59 points.
