This November 6 marked Stranger Things Day, a special day dedicated to the series – the date of which coincides with the disappearance of Will Byers’ character in the story. Due to the actors’ strike, little exclusive information has been revealed. Season 5 filming is still patiently waiting to begin.
To meet the expectations of the fans, the creators of the series still revealed a little information in the first scene of the very first episode of the 5th season. The teaser is taken from the script: “The sound of cold wind. The roar of the trees. And… a child’s voice singing a familiar song:“
Here are some words that the screenwriters revealed. Everything remains, of course, very mysterious. Who could this child be? There are many theories: Is this a new character? flashback?

As for the “familiar song”, two possibilities: it could be about a very famous song from the eighties. Stranger Things has used many hits from this decade throughout the seasons Should I stay or go? from a collision or Running Up That Hill By Kate Bush. Another possibility is that it could be a familiar song within the universe of the series itself.
To remind you, just one year ago, on November 7, 2022, the creators already revealed the title of the first episode of season 5.walk“. In French, “crawl” means something that gradually expands. So we can imagine that this is an upside-down world that is slowly but surely settling into the real world.
In other Stranger Things news, as the stage production begins production this month in November 2023, the show’s official account has shared a behind-the-scenes look. The work, entitled The first shadow, will serve as a prequel to the series. The story takes place in 1959.
