A movie about Matthew Perry? The Friends star only wanted one actor to play her in a biopic about her life

Will there be a movie about Matthew Perry’s life? His tragic fate (a TV star who battled his addictions and died prematurely at age 54) might make Hollywood want to bring Chandler Bing’s journey as an interpreter to the big screen. And imagine that the interested person already had a project under development!

He has turned down several films throughout his career, including one of Netflix’s biggest hits!

Photographer Athena Crosby, who had lunch with the actor the day before his tragic death, revealed ET online That the actor had a film project based on his life and that he already had an actor in mind to play his role:

wanted Zac Efron to play Jr. and planned to ask very soon. He tried to share more about his story and his freedom from addiction and really did it to help more people. He was very optimistic and happy with what he wanted to do.

Fans of the two actors remember that Zac Efron and Matthew Perry shared the poster for 17 years, a romantic comedy in which a man in his late thirties who hates his life wants to start his life. The day after that wish, he wakes up in the skin of a 17-year-old. He enrolls in high school to help his children.

While filming 17 Again, Efron called Perry to learn how to talk and move like her. Now he was 36, whom the late actor wanted to play on the big screen. Chandler’s former interpreter released his autobiography last year Friends – my love and this terrible thingwhich he apparently intended to sell to a studio to make his living in film or television.

Life, unfortunately, did not give time.

Did you know him in this series that came out 10 years before Friends?

FYI, 17 Years Again is an irreverent remake of Young Again, the 1986 Disney TV movie starring a very young Keanu Reeves… and a less irreverent remake of 18 Again! (1988) with Charlie Schlatter and George Burns. Released in France in April 2009, it will be 17 years since the last feature film by Matthew Perry, who died on October 28th.

Will Hollywood go so far as to make a movie based on her life that honors her original casting? And in this case, who should play the other 5 friends? Your keyboards!
