During the premiere of 007: Road To A Millionnew reality show on Amazon Prime Video inspired by the franchise James Bondthe producer Greg Wilson revealed to the website Express that there is no forecast for a new film to be made.
“There are no plans to do the next Bond right now. There will be another Bond someday, but we’re not actively working on it.”he stated.
The last film in the spy franchise was 007 – No Time to Diereleased in 2021. The film marked the farewell to Daniel Craig (Between Knives and Secrets) of the role of James Bond after starring in five films in the franchise, starting in 2006 with 007 – Casino Royale.
While the new James Bond film doesn’t hit the big screen, fans of the franchise can enjoy Prime Video’s new reality show, 007: Road To A Millionwhich premieres next Friday, November 10th.
In the production, which is presented by Brian Cox (Succession), nine pairs, made up of ordinary people, compete in epic challenges inspired by James Bond to win the long-awaited prize of 1 million pounds, which is equivalent to almost 6 million reais. Watch the trailer:
