This Wednesday, November 8th, the new production of the musical Mean Girls had its trailer released, the film features the presence of lindsay lohan, actress who played the character Cady in the 2004 film.

In the new musical Mean Girls, the cast includes Angourie Rice, Auli’i Cravalho (Almost a Rockstar), Renee Rapp (The Sexual Life of College Girls and played Regina George on the Broadway stage), Busy Philipps (The White Girls), Jaquel Spivey, Tina Fey and Tim Meadows (Saturday Night Live) and Jon Hamm.
Initially launched in 2004, Mean Girls tells the story of Cady (lindsay lohan), a young woman who moves from Africa to the United States and faces challenges adapting to her new school. Influenced by her new friends Janis (Lizzy Caplan) and Damian (Daniel Franzese), she becomes involved in a revenge plan against Regina George (Rachel McAdams), the most popular girl in school. However, what starts as a simple joke takes on greater proportions as Cady becomes a member of the Plastics. Written by Tina Fey and directed by Mark Waters, the film became a huge pop culture icon in the 2000s.
