On November 22, Ridley Scott will return to cinema to continue his exploration of French history. Two years after the last duel, the English director will revisit the fate of Napoleon Bonaparte, whose conquest and fall will be told in this feature film in 2 hours and 30 minutes.

A month before it hits theaters, the film is revealed with a new trailer that gives the epic visuals pride of place. Especially famous Russian campaigns, marked by the battle of Berezina, the failure of the river, which later took its name from the expression denoting the route.

The trailer also shows his self-crowned emperor. His tumultuous relationship with Josephine de Beauharnais (Vanessa Kirby). And a bit more from Tahar Rahim as the politician Paul Barras (1755 – 1829) who was involved in voting for the death of Louis XVI during the French Revolution, and whose resignation facilitated Napoleon Bonaparte’s coup d’état.
