Ingredients for microwave poached egg

– 2 units of eggs

– 1 cup(s) of water

– Salt to taste

– pepper to taste THE

PREPARATION:

1. Separate the recipe ingredients and utensils.

PREPARATION:

Poached egg in the microwave:

1. Pour ½ cup of cold water into each non-metallic bowl or cup.

2. Carefully crack open the eggs and place one in each – so they are submerged – add a little more water if necessary.

3. Poke a hole in the yolk with a toothpick to prevent the egg from exploding in the microwave. Drill well.

4. Cover bowls or cups with a saucer.

5. Take it to the microwave.

6. Cook for 50 seconds on high power: the egg white should be cooked and the yolk soft.

7. If when you check the egg the white is still raw, cook for another 10-15 seconds (the cooking time depends on the power of your microwave).

8. Remove the egg with a slotted spoon and drain the water well.

9. Season the eggs with salt and pepper.

FINALIZATION AND ASSEMBLY:

1. Transfer the poached egg(s) to plates, along with the main egg.

2. It goes very well with soups and sandwiches.
