Pixar released this Thursday (9) the first official trailer for Inside out 2sequel to the 2015 film. One of Disney’s most acclaimed productions, the preview of the new feature film shows the arrival of another feeling in Riley: anxiety.
In reverse 2015 introduced Riley, a preteen who goes through a range of emotions when she moves from Minnesota to San Francisco. In the universe of her mind, the girl’s feelings are shown in the form of characters, namely: Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness. They live in the headquarters of Riley’s mind and try to help her as she struggles to adjust to the many changes in her life.
The sequence of In reverse is one of the most anticipated films by Disney fans, as it was announced last year, during the D23 Expo. The film was a success with audiences and critics, winning the 2016 Oscar in the Best Animated Film category, as well as receiving a nomination for Best Original Screenplay.
The film was also a box office success, grossing more than $850 million globally.
