What is the Watch Party feature?
watch = watch party = party. This feature, offered by several streaming platforms including Netflix, allows you to watch the same program as your family or friends simultaneously or remotely.
Are you eagerly waiting for the new season of LOL or the latest Guy Ritchie movie and want to enjoy it with your loved ones even from a distance? It is possible. You will be able to exchange live thanks to the Watch Party chat and not spoil your brother, sister or friend.
Specifically, to get the most out of Watch Party:
- All participants must be an Amazon Prime member or have purchased the video.
- Each person controls their own audio and subtitle settings. Anyone can control the player unless you disable the setting.
How to do it:
Step 1: Select the program you want and click on the Watch Party image
Step 2: Invite your loved ones
There are two options available to you: you send the URL link directly or you offer them to use a QR code.
Step 3: Enjoy!
The movie finally started. You can see who is watching with you at any time in the Settings tab. You can turn off the control to avoid your best friend every 5 minutes. In the “Chat” tab, you can talk live with your loved ones. Super practical!
