In a film scripted by his own son, Bruce Dickinson will face zombies
Bruce Dickinson will star in an apocalyptic film inspired by ABBA: Bjorn Of The Dead. The feature film will be directed by Elza Kephart and scripted by co-producer Austin Dickinsonwhich signs the original story with Andrew Prendergast. Other rock and heavy metal artists will make special appearances in the production, which should begin in 2024.
It revolves around a tribute band to ABBAwho finds herself, along with several other tribute artists, trapped in a nightclub at the start of the apocalypse. Bjorn and his band must work together to save themselves, humanity and the future of music. – deadline
“We are so excited to make this bloody film about the super funny and terrifying story of Austin about how the music industry works,” said Prendergast. Austin Dickinsonson of the singer of Iron Maidenadded: “Andrew, Elza and I can’t wait for you to see what’s to come. Put on your spandex, fix your wigs and sharpen your axes. Bjorn is coming”.
Despite his work in cinema, Austin is more familiar with the musical environment. He is part of the alternative metal band The Lionswhich brings together members of the extinct Rise to Remain.
