John Wick is getting an anime adaptation and a new TV series

Further expanding a franchise that has already had resounding success in the action genre, John Wick just won an anime adaptation and another TV series. The news was announced by the director of the four-film saga himself, Chad Stahelski.

We are excited because I love anime and we will have a lot of fun creating stories for the anime and TV series.

John Wick 4: Baba Yaga, released in March of this year, was the best opening in the franchise, which continues to evolve with each sequel, a difficult feat to maintain after so many films. The latest production of the legendary assassin starring Keanu Reeves received numerous positive reviews and grossed an impressive $137.5 million at the box office upon opening. Currently, the film has already surpassed $440 million.

And we’ll get John Wick 5

With growing success, of course, the expansion won’t stop there. John Wick 5 The development has already been confirmed and, despite the rumors about whether or not Reeves will participate, Stahelski also confirmed, on another occasion, that the actor will not only participate but would be enthusiastic about the new sequence.

Until then there is no information on the plot of the next production or the premiere date, but both the director and Reeves already have ideas for new action scenes.

We have many concepts [em mente]things that we wanted to do in previous films and weren’t able to do.
