The coach complained about the sequence of matches and regretted the opportunities Colorado missed at Arena Barueri

Coach Eduardo Coudet admitted Internacional’s fatigue with the sequence of games, saying his team completely lost the ability to react after Palmeiras’ second goal. Colorado was defeated by Verdão 3-0 this Saturday (11), at Arena Barueri, in the 34th round of the Brazilian championship.
– There were seven, eight rounds in a row, playing every three days. We are faced with an unforgiving rival. With fatigue and all, the match ended after the second goal. The most worrying thing, besides having lost, is that we hope that the players are well and that we can recover them – said Coudet in the press conference after the duel.
According to the coach, Inter had a good first half, but the difference between the teams that proved decisive for the score of the match was the effectiveness. Coudet lamented the missed chances by Colorado who, unlike Palmeiras, were unable to turn clear chances into goals.
– I feel the difference was clearly in effectiveness and strength. We also had some chances in the first half, Weverton put in a great performance and we weren’t able to deliver. They did one and we didn’t do what we had. In the second half we started well, I feel that we demonstrated our qualities and were close, but I don’t like losing,” she added.
With the defeat, Internacional stops at 43 points and remains in 12th place, very far from the dream of a place in the next edition of the Libertadores. In the next round, Colorado will host Bragantino on November 26 (Sunday), at 6:30 pm (Brasilia time), in Beira-Rio.
