Kyŏngsŏng is the old name of Seoul. In the spring of 1945, within the confines of the mysterious Onseong Hospital, as humans and creatures occupied the building that “An entrepreneur and a detective struggle to survive when they come face-to-face with a creature born of human greed” As the official synopsis says.

In two parts, The Creature of Kyŏngsŏng Season 1 (The Gyeongseong Creature in English and Gyeongseong Keulicheo in the original version) will release its first seven episodes on December 22, 2023 on Netflix. Then you’ll have to wait (barely) until the last three chapters are revealed, starting on January 5, 2024. Who are these armed soldiers? And what’s in that weird box they’re carrying on the series poster? Answer in a few weeks…
