‘Rapa’ will have a second season on Movistar Plus+

After becoming one of the best Spanish series of 2022, ‘rap’the Movistar Plus+ thriller by Pepe Coira and Fran Araújo, the creators of ‘Hierro’, It will have a second season. Starring Mónica López and Javier Cámara and produced in collaboration with Portocabo, it premiered on the platform in May achieving exceptional data during its first month of availability: 75% of customers who saw the first episode have completed the season. ‘Rapa’ is crowned the best Movistar Plus+ premiere after the second season of ‘Hierro’, one of the best series of the season.

Investigating the crime will become an obsession for Maite, a civil guard sergeant, and for Tomás, the only witness to the murder. For Maite, looking for the murderer is an obligation, it is his job. For Tomás, who is a professor of Literature at the institute and to whom no one has given vigil at this funeral, it is the opportunity – possibly the last – to live a story like the ones he loves to read, and perhaps thus be able to tell it. Both will open an investigation that will affect the whole town. All of them, in one way or another, were related to Amparo. They all had something to gain or lose by her death.
