The first trailer of Garfield: Far From Home was revealed this Monday (13) by Sony Pictures. The film will be released on February 16, 2024 in the United States. There is no release date in Brazil yet.
In the trailer, Garfield (Chris Pratt) meets Vic (Samuel L. Jackson), his missing father. The information comes from Omelette.
According to the official synopsis released, the famous house cat who hates Mondays and loves lasagna is about to have a wild outdoor adventure. After an unexpected reunion with his long-lost father, Garfield and his canine friend Odie are forced to abandon their perfectly pampered lives to join Vic on a hilariously risky heist.
Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso), Ving Rhames (Mission Impossible), Nicholas Hoult (X-Men: Dark Phoenix), Cecily Strong (Schmigadoon!), Brett Goldstein (Ted Lasso) and Bowen Yang (Saturday night live) complete the cast of the film. Garfield: Far From Home has a screenplay by David Reynolds, from Finding Nemo (2003) and directed by Mark Dindal, from Little chicken (2005).
