The bullet gives hope to investigators
At the police station, Georges and Karim discovered the identity of the person Corentin had been talking to about the online chess game: it was Timothee Brune. Roxanne, who has read their conversations, notices an additional clue. Indeed, Corentin was very interested in Timothy’s father’s vineyard. Georges and Karim think they have serious leadership.
Karim immediately goes with the team to Victor’s estate. He finds a cavity there, which seems to have served as a hiding place. Karim returns to the police station and advises Victor and his staff to keep their guard up.
Meanwhile, Liz and Jack are worried about running around the house. That’s not the case for Jordan, who doesn’t hesitate to answer the door when the delivery man comes to ring the bell. At the spoon, Maude notices that her sister is gossiping and tries to stop her. But Camille refuses to talk and keeps to herself. When he learns of her behavior, Dorian begins to worry. He hesitates to contact her to make sure they are on the same wavelength. Luna disagrees. On the contrary, he believes that he must keep his distance from Camille so that the latter can really move away.
At the police station, Damien confirms to Karim that Corentine’s fingerprints were found in the vineyard hideout. Police believe the teenager stayed there for a few days and will eventually return. Moreover, everything was returned to its place, so that Corentin did not suspect anything. As for Karim, he left his colleagues behind.
And indeed, Corentin returns to the vineyard. Except he’s surprised by Victor. The latter calls the police to warn them, and then goes in pursuit of the young man. Stopped by chest pain, Victor sees Corentin running away.
In the evening, Corentin manages to inject a virus into Jack and Liz’s cell phones, so much so that they catch fire and explode in front of the owner’s eyes…
