It All Begins Here: What’s in store for Thursday 16 November 2023 Episode 797 [SPOILERS]

Carla confesses the truth to the entire institute

Antoine finds it difficult to digest his son’s lies. Suleiman tries to explain his reasons to her: he wanted to protect Carla. But Antoine now finds himself in a delicate situation because he took a risk with management to protect the woman he thought was the mother of his grandson. Father and son remain in their position without listening to the other.

At the institute, Suleiman tells Carla how things went with her father. Now that the latter knows the truth, Suleiman believes that there is no need to continue playing the couple in front of his comrades. When Lionel interrupts them for suspicion of arguing, Carla takes the opportunity to announce that they are breaking up.

Lionel rushes into the locker room to tell Kelly the news. Jimmy, who joins the conversation, calls Suleiman a big coward. Solal tries to keep his friend’s secret. But Jimmy does not budge: there is nothing worse than dumping a pregnant girl.

Rumors spread quickly in the institute. Hortense informs Rose. He confronts Carla directly to highlight the injustice that Suleiman is now suffering because of yet another lie. Carla apologizes and admits that she spoke recklessly. Rose suggests that he should become more mature.

Carla then posts a video to the school’s WhatsApp group to clarify: she claims that Suleiman was blameless and always supported her. She adds that they were never a couple and he is not the father of her child. Watching the video, Suleiman is worried.

Later, Salome congratulates Carla on posting the video. She invites him to join her at her table, where she was talking to Jasmine, to question her about the progress of the research on her biological parents. Carla explains that her case is doomed and she has no hope. Jasmine then tells Carla that Rose cared for Nael for some time after her birth and that she was in contact with an ASE social worker in the area during that time. Jasmine thinks it was worth asking her.

Carla goes to see Rose to ask her for the social worker’s contact information. At the same time, Antoine interrupts them to have a face-to-face with his ex. He suspects that he knew before then that Suleiman was not the father of Carla’s child. Rose finally admits that she already knew, but that Suleiman made her promise not to say anything. Penelope confides a secret to Joachim

Joachim and Clotilda go to the institute together. Clotilda regrets not being able to attend her partner’s last day of training for the big challenge day. She has a lot of classes and needs to start preparing for the module with Mark. Joakim calms down on this topic. He knows Clotilda and Mark were just friends and it stops there. So he lets Clotilda alone. Joachim sees Penelope on the way. He has headphones on and does not hear how he is calling. While trying to catch her, Joachim discovers that Penelope has just left her cardiologist.

On the beach, Joachim coaches Penelope, Constance, and Laetitia. Solal arrives to join their group. Joachim then starts the endurance race. In great difficulty, Penelope fails and stops. Constance and Joachim return to him worried. Penelope reports that she feels dizzy when she skips breakfast. He prefers to stop exercising to go out to eat. When Joachim offers to accompany her, she resists him a little too sharply.

Later, on the premises of the institute, Joachim comes to check on Penelope and admits that he saw her leave the cardiologist a little earlier. Penelope then confesses to the heart attack she had last year. After approaching death, the young woman had a moment and decided to retrain in the kitchen. However, he really wants to participate in the big challenge day. So much so that he did not talk to his cardiologist about it. Worried about her health, Joachim strongly advises Penelope to find a less risky activity that will still let her off steam.

At the end of the day, Penelope returns to see Joachim and declares that she could not find a better activity than sports. Indeed, he loves adrenaline and needs decompression before exams. Finally, Joachim finds a way out. Penelope agrees to give up Big Challenge Day on the condition that she finds two tickets for him to a Rolling Stones concert in Nîmes.

Jasmine loses her inspiration

As agreed with Chef Guino, Jasmine joins Salome’s brigade at Double A. The young chef is happy to have him around, especially as some customers ask for customized vegetarian dishes. In this case, the customer wants a vegetarian dish based on white truffle. Jasmine immediately had ideas about associations that were confirmed by Salome.

However, when Jasmine prepares her dish, she begins to lack inspiration. And also motivation. Salome and Judah come to taste his cooking to give some suggestions to improve his dish. After work, Jasmine meets up with Constance and asks her for a natural treatment to help her feel better in the kitchen, especially with exams coming up. A young girl admits that she no longer enjoys what she does, even when the working conditions are optimal. Constance then advises him to let the motivation and desire return on its own instead of forcing something.

Later, Jasmine picks Nael up from daycare to take her somewhere fun. He goes to the atelier to ask Billy and Thibault, who are hard at work in class with Chef Armand, to join them. If Billy decides to stay for work, Thibault agrees to have fun with his girlfriend and her son.
