After months of speculation about who would play Reed Richards, known as Mr. Fantastic, in the new live-action Fantastic Four of Marvel Studios, sources revealed to Deadline that Pedro Pascal, from The last of usis the name chosen for the character.
According to the portal, Pascal’s acceptance will largely depend on his schedule for 2024. The actor is already involved in at least three projects next year: Gladiator 2, weapons and the new season of The last of us.
Pascal is known for several important works, including The last of us, game of Thrones, The Mandalorian AND Narcos.
The reboot of Fantastic Four There is no defined cast yet, but the premiere is scheduled for February 14, 2025.

Recently, in an interview with Collider, Shakman said that the new version of the film Fantastic Four will be “Unlike anything you’ve ever seen at Marvel”. Other details have not yet been revealed.
“I wish I could be specific. I wish I could say more. But we’re doing things very differently story-wise, from a cinematic approach that really suits the material – and certainly different than anything you’ve seen from Marvel.“
