Season 7 of Young Sheldon, derived from Big Bang, will be the last

CBS this week today announced the end of one of its most successful series: Young Sheldoncoming from The Big Bang Theory. As reported by Deadline, the seventh season of the production, which will premiere on February 15, 2024 in the United States, will be the last – and with fewer episodes than usual.

As a prequel to one of the greatest sitcoms, Young Sheldon proved that lightning can strike twice.

We can’t wait to see how the final season unfolds and give fans a proper send-off for the best episodes.

Amy Reisenbach, president of CBS Entertainment.

According to the foreign portal, the spin-off series has come to an end as the team believes that all the content related to the mother series has already been presented, following the timeline and the stories of Sheldon (Jim Parsons) in big Bang.

Written and produced by Chuck Lorre and Steven Molaro (the same as the original series), Young Sheldon shows the childhood of child prodigy Sheldon Cooper (Iain Armitage), the genius played by Parsons for 12 years in big Bang.
