What if Ted, Mark Wahlberg’s companion in the films of the same name, had become a murderer instead of a brute and a beer drinker? That, to summarize, is the starting point of Imaginary, the trailer of which was revealed.
After the M3GAN doll, producer Jason Blum, to whom we owe the recent The Exorcist – Devotion and Five Nights at Freddy’s (a small success in theaters), continues to create monsters for children’s toy horror movies.
Directed by Jeff Wadlow (Truth or Dare), Imaginary follows Jessica (Devanda Wise) as she moves back into her childhood home. And discovers that the imaginary friend he left behind as a child is very real and very unhappy after he’s gone.
That’s how she and her daughter end up with a teddy bear that’s a lot less cute than it seems. Even if the trailer suggests that a demonic entity lurks behind the events we see.
Betty Buckley (The Split) and Tom Paine (The Walking Dead) are also in the cast of this horror feature, which could offer new success to its producer. And give nightmares to those who had an imaginary friend.
