While the Daryl Dixon series has just started airing in France on Paramount+, the next series of The Walking Dead is already coming! This new spin-off titled The Ones Who Live will allow fans to find the iconic duo of Rick Grimes and Michonne in a new adventure that will take place after the end of the original series.
Recall that Rick left the series during the 9th season after the decision of his translator Andrew Lincoln to take a step back. At the time, the father of two young children, the latter could no longer afford to stay away from his London-based family for much of the year.
After staying on the series, Michonne also left the show that is currently airing (during its 10th season) to follow in the footsteps of her companion and the father of their son RJ. However, the two characters appeared – in the form of a bonus scene – during the final episode of The Walking Dead, which will be broadcast in November 2022.
The Ones Who Live is the third spin-off of the horror franchise to see the light of day after the end of the original series. In the spring, a Dead City series that reunites Maggie and Negan aired on OCS, and Paramount+ is currently airing an episode of Daryl Dixon with Norman Reedus every Friday.
The series The Ones Who Live will air from February 25 in the United States on AMC+; No French broadcaster has announced yet.
