According to Louis Leterrier, actors in Hollywood fall into two categories. And to demonstrate one of them, he told the podcast watch How to suit one of the actors in the Marvel movie The Incredible Hulk:
“William Hurt didn’t want his mustache to hide his game”– he said in the program. “The size of his mustache was a point of discussion. Sometimes, we would fight. There are two types of actors. Your partners/best friends who need hugs every day and those who love to argue and feed off of it. How it works.”
By the way, what does Marvel mean?
Back on the set of The Incredible Hulk, an incident involving Hurt particularly stuck in his memory:
William Hart
One day he yelled at me, “You don’t know anything about actors!” Unfortunately for him, he was in a giant helicopter (…) and I was controlling it. (…) I grabbed the joystick, shook it and it fell. He looked at me like “I like you”. was finished. He just wanted us to burn.
So, the incident is quickly forgotten, but we imagine that managing such a character on a daily basis over a few months of filming is a bit difficult.

William Hurt played General Thaddeus Ross in Avengers 3 and 4, but also Captain America: Civil War, Black Widow and, of course, The Incredible Hulk, which marked his first appearance at Marvel.
Died in March 2022, his role is now played by Harrison Ford in the MCU. We will see him in action in Captain America: Brave New World, where he will appear in human form for the first time and as the red Hulk for the first time.
Thaddeus Ross isn’t the only character returning in Captain America 4, as the film also marks the return of Samuel Stearns, a cell biologist destined to become the super-villain leader played by Tim Blake Nelson.
