Un Si Grand Soleil preview: Thursday, November 23, 2023 episode recap [SPOILERS]

Kristoff manipulates Janet

Kristof is especially affectionate towards his wife today. The vet also thinks she’s more relaxed than usual. Cecil then leads her to believe that she has been distant towards him because of her job, and is careful not to tell him that she suspected him of being a florist. The tension now relieved, the pair kiss.

Christophe, in a particularly good mood, takes advantage of breakfast to go swimming, much to the amusement of Achille and Cecile.

At the hospital, Lorin reads David an article from the Midi Libre about a priest suspected of murder. Therefore, the young woman realizes that the search took place in Father Silvio’s presbytery. And suffice it to say, it doesn’t surprise Lorin, who has always thought the priest was unhealthy. A discussion that Janet did not miss.

Distraught, Dr. Lewis ends up confiding in Allen about the ongoing investigation. He finds it hard to believe that Father Silvio could be a serial killer. Allen then reminds him that people can often hide behind masks.

In turn, the investigators evaluate. Even though they have a lot of evidence that overwhelms Father Silvio, Commissioner Becker still believes that the case is not moving forward. According to him, this is only a serious bullet. That is why he pressures Manu to find specific elements. For this, he asks her to solve his whole life.

At the vet’s office, Charles is worried about the Midi Libre article. As police turn their attention to unsolved murders in the area, he fears authorities will look into Darius’s case. Kristoff then claims that they have no way back.

At the same time, Kristoff gets a call from Janet, who asks to see him because she needs to talk to him. So the vet joins Dr. Lewis on the city streets. Disturbed by this news, Janet says that Father Silvio went to Paraguay because of her. And to add that he is troubled because he cannot give the real reasons for the priest’s departure in order to avoid destroying his relationship. So he wanted the police to understand their mistake.

Kristof then tells him that not all suspicions are related to the churchman’s hasty departure and that the investigators have other elements that point to his guilt. He then explains that he has been thinking about his discussions with her and that he now looks at things differently. After he talks about the trauma he experienced in Darfur and what might drive him to do such things, Janet asks if he thinks he’s guilty. The vet implies yes and goes so far as to have the priest come to him to meet with Cecily to get information on Obert’s case. For him, Father Silvio manipulated them.

Becker surprises Sabine and Hugo

Johanna takes advantage of the gym session with Sabine to offer her a little dinner with the girls this evening. Only the math teacher refuses because he already has something planned. Her friend seems to be especially busy lately, and Johanna wonders if she’s hiding something from him and asks if she has a new man in her life. Uncomfortable, Sabine falters in her explanation, which makes the lawyer smile.

In the afternoon, Hugo joins Sabine at home. The couple then have fun with all the strategies they come up with to keep their friends from finding out they’re dating. Accomplices, they kiss, then begin to undress.

Meanwhile, Becker receives an olive tree, which he decides to give to his daughter. When she rings the doorbell of her apartment, Hugo and Sabine, too busy with their shenanigans, ignore her. Finally, Becker uses the spare keys and then surprises Hugo and Sabine in the living room in scantily clad clothes. Embarrassed, Hugo, still in his underwear, immediately takes off.

Becker immediately apologizes to Sabine. Although she is surprised that her daughter is seeing a doctor, she is happy that she has finally forgotten Dimitri. In turn, Sabine ends up thanking him for the olive tree.
