Coach Dorival Júnior walked off the pitch berating the referee for São Paulo’s defeat against Fluminense. According to the coach, Gabriel Neves’ expulsion, also in the first half, was not the only refereeing error of the match.

The match referee also issued 11 yellow cards (six for the Rio club and five for the Sao Paulo club).

The coach said he was also annoyed that the team lost another match away from home. São Paulo are the second worst visitors to the Brasileirão, behind only América-MG, who have already been relegated. With 34 matches played in the competition, the Tricolor have yet to win a single match away from home.
– A coincidence, the championship was like this. Even with good performances away from home we did not achieve any results. We must pay more attention and prepare even better so that this does not happen again. But it bothers the capabilities of the San Paolo team.
