The case will be heard at Southwark Crown Court in London. The audition is scheduled for July 14th.
There were four allegations of sexual assault against three men that occurred between 2005 and 2013, according to the head of the CPS Special Crimes Division, Rosemary Ainsliereported in a note sent to the newspaper The Guardian (via G1).
In a statement to Good Morning America, spacey claims to be ‘confident’ that he can prove his innocence.
I very much appreciate the Crown Prosecution Service’s statement, in which they carefully reminded the media and public that I am entitled to a fair and innocent trial until proven guilty. While I am disappointed in their decision to move forward, I will voluntarily appear in the UK as soon as it can be arranged and defend myself against these accusations.
