If you are a fan of the Taxi saga, you must have heard of the third opus Square, which was released in cinemas in 2003. The film, which reunites the duo Frederic Diefenthal / Sammy Nasser, was a hit in the theaters. Over 6 million viewers in attendance, the third-best score in the super-charged franchise.

When Frederick Diefenthal discovered the script for Taxi 3, he was particularly surprised. “I really felt like I was discovering a movie”he declares.

“Taxi 2 There was a sequel first part In which we found the same elements, there were more gags, even more rhythm, and it was still just as funny, but the surprise effect could not be the same.

On the other hand, reading Taxi 3 was a rediscovery on every page! (…) I discovered the emotion and humanity that was there from the beginning.”

In Taxi 3, the action moves to the mountains, a choice that had its pros and cons. “It was a little difficult to bring equipment, wait in the cold, etc.”– says director Gerard Krawczyk. “But it was also a very enjoyable world because it was less explored cinematically.”

To shoot at this height, the team had to adapt, due to the sun, to shooting hours limited to daylight for the exteriors.

And finally, let’s not forget to mention a certain Sylvester Stallone’s brilliant cameo in Taxi 3. For this alone, it is worth watching the third part of the saga created by Luc Besson. Does it light up?
